#4 You are a Child of GOD

We were slaves to sin.
Despite our efforts to break free, we couldn't, and despite our struggles to lighten our load, it remained heavy.
Our lives were much like bearing an immense debt, a debt so massive that even three generations could not repay it.

Because of sin, we suffered.
People expressed their greed through sin, and in doing so, we inflicted harm on each other, even causing damage to life itself.

However, those forgiven of their sins through the grace of Jesus Christ's crucifixion have come to live a unique relationship in this world.
This unique relationship is the one where we live as 'children' of God, who is our Creator and Savior, and are granted the privilege to call Him 'Father'.

"Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, 'Abba, Father."
- Galatians 4:6 -

Just as children speak to and listen to their parents,
we speak to God through prayer and listen to Him through His Word.
At times, He conveys His will to us through profound emotions or revelations in our hearts.

Therefore, prayer is a manifestation of the transformed relationship between us and God.
